Our vision is to restore the physical connection between the urban fabric and the coastline, translating it into a cultural bridge that unites local residents with new visitors.
A Meeting Point Between Land, Culture, and Community
This project is about more than just a site; it’s about a piece of land with a unique history and purpose. It serves as a guardian of Playas del Coco’s coastline, deeply rooted in its identity as a fishermen’s beach, while also bearing witness to the transformation of a small village into a vibrant destination.
From its early days as a retreat for visitors seeking to connect with nature to its present as a rapidly growing hub, Playas del Coco has become a crossroads of tradition and modernity. With this project, we propose creating a new landmark: a space for gathering, connection, and pause.
Our vision is to restore the physical connection between the urban fabric and the coastline, translating it into a cultural bridge that unites local residents with new visitors. This project aims to provide more than just a place for relaxation; it seeks to offer a sense of belonging to those who arrive in search of a beach getaway and end up finding a home.
This project embodies the spirit of 32 South: designing spaces that celebrate local identity, foster community, and respect the land while embracing the possibilities of thoughtful, sustainable growth.
